How Do Custom Paintings Work?

Please title the subject line: Custom Painting Photos. OR add you email and I will reach out to you. 
Fill out the details.
Include any personalized message you'd like on the back, preferred color scheme, or any additional notes. (Optional) 
Submit your order and complete payment.
I (Abbi) will reply to your email.
If I have any questions or need more information, I’ll continue the conversation with you by email to make sure I understand exactly what you’re envisioning. After getting a better idea of what you are looking for, I can give you an estimated time on how long your painting will take. 
 
*Please keep in mind: Custom paintings take time to complete. In addition to the painting process itself, both the paint and protective varnish need time to fully dry before shipping. The turnaround time is typically a minimum of 2 weeks, but it may take up to 2 months or more, depending on the materials used and how many custom orders are in the queue.
 
Custom paintings come in all kinds of ideas and styles. Some of the more popular requests include:
Weddings or birthday gifts
Home décor pieces like landscapes
Whimsical or soft-toned art for nurseries or children’s rooms
Graduation gifts
Small pieces for nightstands, coffee tables, or gallery walls
Meaningful gifts for missionaries (temple art) 
Hometown art 
 
No returns can be accepted with custom paintings. Orders can be changed up until they start getting worked on. Reach out to paintingwithabbi@gmail.com with questions. 
 
Additional things to understand.
1. Fine Art Print Permission
Due to the nature of this business, some custom paintings may potentially be turned into fine art prints. This would only apply to more general pieces (such as landscapes or floral works), never highly personal artwork, or without permission.
Please let me know if you’re comfortable with your custom painting being considered for prints with the box above.
2. Social Media Sharing
Custom paintings may be shared on my social media platforms as part of my portfolio and to showcase current work. If you’d prefer your piece not be shared, just let me know, I'm happy to respect your privacy.
